For this post I am going to be talking about how statistics and data is used with managers, and agents. Similar to the actual player agents are very important, and having a good agent will likely help a player gain more money for his play. Agents are supposed to negotiate contracts between the client and the team. They also handle the endorsement deals and try to keep the players image, and money in mind. If there is a player who is openly part of the LGBTQ+ then the agent would probably not negotiate a contract for an ad with chick-fil-a. Data is used in this field, when agents are deciding what player to represent. Agents also have an image to hold up, and when there is a bust it hurts the agent's image as well. This is why agents look at stats to make sure their image is still represented by his client. Agents also are paid by their client, so they try and get the best deals and contracts. Data is so important especially if your job revolves around keeping an image.
